On 10 September, China Eastern Airlines Flight MU865 touched down at Macau International Airport, marking the official launch of the Macau–Nanchang route and the first commercial arrival of the domestically developed C909 aircraft in Macau—a proud milestone for Chinese aviation. As the airport’s exclusive ground handling partner, Menzies Aviation Macau provided full-service support for this landmark flight, from arrival to departure, and joined distinguished guests in celebrating this momentous occasion. The aircraft was greeted with a traditional water salute, and the route will now operate three times weekly, strengthening regional connectivity.

We proactively trained in Shanghai to master the C909’s unique ground service requirements and developed a tailored support plan, including procuring a specialized tow bar for seamless operations.
