Menzies Aviation Macau recently held a productive workshop with key industry partners to advance the green transformation of its ground support equipment (GSE). On the eve of the Green Aviation Forum, representatives from On Fortune, Yutong Bus, Guangtai, and GUANGDA joined Menzies’ equipment maintenance team for an in-depth technical exchange. The session facilitated meaningful dialogue between manufacturers and end-users, focusing on practical experience, potential improvements, and collaborative models to optimize the performance and sustainability of GSE operations.

The discussions emphasized the importance of building a closed-loop feedback mechanism covering design, usage, and maintenance. This initiative will help integrate frontline operational insights into future equipment enhancements, improving safety, usability, and maintainability. Participants also addressed standardization of management protocols and charging infrastructure development to support the broader adoption of electric GSE.
